Seven things to buy and most people need one of them. This page is arranged by who you are rather than by what we sell, including the situations where the answer is none of it.
Everything below is priced on the site, in Canadian dollars, and nothing requires a call first. If after reading this you are still unsure, the three-question finder will narrow it in about a minute.
PV Associate, four live days — $1,575 CAD. You are learning both the vocabulary and the engineering, and having somebody to ask is worth the difference over recorded. Add safety tickets: in this market employers commonly want a credential and current fall-protection and electrical-safety awareness, because the credential gets you the interview and the safety tickets get you onto the roof. Safety training →
Self-paced, forty hours — $799 CAD. The electrical and structural fundamentals are already yours. What is new is array sizing, string configuration within an inverter's voltage window, interconnection, and the Canadian code path for PV. You will move through it faster than the course length suggests. The tradesperson's route →
The question bank — $210 CAD. Possibly nothing else. If you can already specify and build systems, a course teaches you little and the gap is examination technique. Sit the examination on its own: a seat is $240 CAD and open to candidates who trained anywhere. Book a seat → And if your goal is a NABCEP professional certification rather than the Associate, the binding constraint is documented experience, not training — start recording your hours this month.
Start Your Own Solar Company — six sessions. Licensing, insurance, the ESA filing path, quoting against consumption rather than roof area, net metering applications, supplier accounts, and the federal credit your commercial customers can claim. One caveat we repeat often: selling systems you cannot specify goes badly, so the technical credential first and the business programme second is the order that works. The programme →
Group rates exist and so does a private cohort on your dates. Tell us the headcount and what the crew already holds, and we will tell you which parts they can skip — which is usually more than you expect. Ask about group training →
Buy nothing yet. Read the career pathways page, which sets out what the jobs actually are and what each needs, and the three free worked examination questions, which will tell you quickly whether the technical content is something you enjoy. If the answer is no, that is worth finding out for free.

The four-day Fast-Track, mostly because people like finishing inside a month and like being able to ask. It is not automatically the right one for you.
Usually not. The common sensible pairing is a credential course plus safety tickets, because employers here tend to ask for both.
Yes, invoiced to the company. Say so when you enquire and we will bill it that way.
Three fully worked examination questions and the written guides on this site. No email required for either.
