Four things shape every course here. Two of them are things most providers in this market do not do, and one is a refusal.
You can read this as a sales page if you like, but it is mostly a list of commitments that are easy to check and awkward to break.
Every course, every figure, in Canadian dollars, on one page. Almost nobody in this market publishes theirs, because an unpublished price can be adjusted to the customer. Ours cannot, which occasionally costs us money and is the point.
Fundamentals and safety, then design, then installation, then operations and maintenance. Not alphabetically, not by chapter, in the order a real system gets built, because that is the order in which one thing explains the next.
And the calculations get worked on screen rather than presented finished. Watching somebody reach a wrong number, notice it and find the sign error is worth more than a clean example, which is why we do it that way even though it looks less polished.
A seat here costs the same, on the same dates, whether you trained with us or with a competitor, and the booking form does not ask. That is not generosity — it is the minimum condition for a training provider to be trusted near an examination. Why that separation matters →
Solar Canada is a NABCEP Registered Provider, number PVARTP-0877, for the Photovoltaic Associate programme, and an examination provider authorised to administer the sitting. Based in Newmarket, Ontario; courses run online and are open worldwide. You can verify the status independently in NABCEP's own provider directory rather than taking our word for it. More about the status →
Everything currently runs online; in-person classes are arranged by region once enough people want the same dates. Our published course calendar is thinner than we would like. And the site carries no photographs of real classes yet, because the only alternative was stock photography and we would rather show you drawings than pretend.

Price, published rather than quoted, and Canadian context in the code and interconnection content. On the examination itself nothing differs, because NABCEP runs it.
Everything runs online today. In-person classes are arranged by region once enough people in one place want the same dates. Tell us where you are and we will add you to that list.
Instructors working in the Canadian solar and energy sector. If you want to know about a specific cohort's instructor before you book, ask and we will tell you.
Yes, and we do. If you already install solar full-time, a course usually teaches you little.
